Allina Health Environmental Excellence Awards News Release

During my Allina Health Public Relations internship, I wrote and distributed a news release to announce Allina Health's accomplishment in securing two environmental excellence award through Practice Greenhouse. This news release presented an opportunity to work cross-functionally with Allina Health's Environmental Sustainability team and to extensively research the organization's waste procedures and launch of site-specific green teams. Learning how to captivate the media's attention with a more scientific and research-backed style of writing, I was reminded of the importance of placing an organization's mission at the forefront of everything.
